Description

Birchwater Education is a progressive school for learning English. The school is located in the centre of Limerick, west coast of Ireland. The centre is housed in one of Ireland's finest boarding schools, Villiers IB School, surrounded by green lawns.

Facilities include a library, classrooms, a student lounge and a computer room. Sports and excursions after school. There are playing fields and bowling on site. Students may choose from several clubs: a conversation club, a book club or a chess club, where they may develop their thinking skills. There is also a lift and a kitchen on campus. During the week the students will walk around town, see the castles of Irish knights and visit the hunting museum. At the weekend children go to the Cliffs of Moher where they filmed scenes from Harry Potter.

The children are accommodated in the school's residence, four to eight students per room. Hot breakfast, lunch and dinner are served in the dining hall. Vegetarian meals are included on the menu.
