Select English, establerta a Cambridge el 1991, és una escola d'anglès independent dedicada a oferir una instrucció personalitzada i d'alta qualitat tant per a joves com per a adults.
Durant l'estiu, Select English ofereix cursos per a estudiants a partir de 10 anys. Aquests inclouen el curs de Cambridge Juniors per a estudiants de 13 a 17 anys, els programes de Culford School per a 10-16 anys, el curs de Cambridge Adults per a estudiants de més de 16 anys i el curs de Cambridge University College per a 16-25 anys.

Programes
Culford is a beautiful school built on the estate of Culford Hall. It is set in 480 acres of stunning grade 1 parkland and is a safe and secure location. The combination of modern and historic buildings with excellent sports facilities make Culford an ideal location for a summer English course for teens.
Students on the course study 20 full hours of English lessons each week. There are afternoon and evening activities on offer each day and a full day trip to London and Cambridge.
Breakfast, lunch and dinner are taken in the dining hall where a good variety of meals are offered.
Culford school boasts excellent sports facilities and students are able to make use of these during their course.

Teaching
Placement Test: On your first day, you will take a short written test and have an interview with a teacher so that we can assess your level of English and choose the best class level for you.
English Lessons: Our English classes are based on our school’s topic based syllabus. You will develop your language skills while discussing topics that are relevant and interesting to you. Expect to work in pairs and groups regularly, and take part in class discussions and other activities that make learning enjoyable and fun.
Project Classes: In our project classes, you will use English to work on a project together with your class mates. You will be able to choose the focus of your project with help from your teacher. Popular projects include:
- Creating a school magazine
- Surveys of Select staff or members of the public
- Making a guide to Cambridge for future students
- Preparing a presentation on your hometown
Drama Classes: On your final day at Select, all classes put on a short performance for the rest of the school. In your drama classes, your teacher will help you to prepare and rehearse your performance.
This is an excellent way to build your confidence and is also lots of fun!
Certificates: At the end of the course, you will receive a certificate with your English level.
Activity Program
The Culford course has an exciting and varied activity programme with sports, games and excursions. These include a mixture of Sports, Arts and Crafts, Cultural activities, Social events and Excursions. These include:

- Half-day trip to Bury St Edmunds
- Trips to Pleasurewood Hills or Thetford Forest for Survival Skills
