Description

Babel Academy of English inspires and engages children and adults with English all year round. The school is located in the centre of Dublin. It's a city of evergreens and free museums. Trinity College, main streets and a large city park are all within walking distance. Children's summer centre takes over a school in the family-run coastal suburb of Raheny.

The language course is combined with excursions, sports and typical Irish activities. A sports hall, tennis courts and rugby and Gaelic football grounds are available for free use. The Dublinia Museum will teach kids about Ireland's historical past in a playful way. In Hout they see fabulous cliffs and sea lions. Students follow the route of famous writers and have a weekend trip to Glendaloch Glacier Valley and the Boyne Valley. The year-round programme also includes a walk in the Dublin Botanic Gardens. In free time kids spend time with host families or relax after a busy day.

Accommodation is a choice of residence or host family. Most homestays are within a 20-minute drive or are within walking distance of the school. Students are accommodated in a single or double room with a bed, cupboard and desk. All families aim to provide a comfortable environment for children and help them practice their English even more. The residence is centrally located and the rooms are for 1-2 with private facilities. A shuttle bus will take the children to and from school. Meals are provided three times a day.
