Program description and what is included

The German course consists of 15 hours per week. There are up to 15 students in classes, distributed according to language level. The lessons take place from 8.30 to 12.30. The lessons focus on grammar practice, speaking, listening, reading and writing skills and creative group projects. All levels are available.

Description

Situated in the renovated 12th century Benedictine monastery in the centre of the village, our campus offers maximum comfort with spacious classrooms, modern single and twin bedrooms, a games area and plenty of space to socialise and relax. The course centre also features an indoor sports hall and outdoor sports facilities, including football fields, volleyball, basketball and tennis courts. This location offers students everything they could possibly need and more, to ensure an enjoyable and activity-rich summer camp language immersion experience in the Swiss Alps.

The campus is equipped with maximum comfort classrooms, a student lounge, a canteen and games room and plenty of areas for students to relax and socialise. There is an indoor sports hall and outdoor sports facilities such as football, volleyball, basketball and tennis courts. Additionally, ALPADIA Engelberg offers the children lessons in tennis, sailing, kayaking, bobsleigh and mountain biking, as well as art workshops. In the evening children will never get bored: games, discos, shows, barbecues and German films will be organized every day. At weekends the pupils will stay in Zurich or Zug.

Students are accommodated in single/twin rooms with shared bathroom facilities on campus. Meals are provided three times a day and a packed lunch is available during weekend excursions.
