Description
EC Dublin Language School is close to all of Dublin's major attractions and public transport links. Just a few minutes walk away and you can experience the past at the medieval quarter or Dublin Castle or for lunch at Dublin's oldest pub, Brazen Head.
Dublin is the capital of Ireland and a city with centuries of history. Nearly half of all Ireland's attractions are in Dublin. These include Dublin Castle, St Patrick's Cathedral, Guinness Beer Museum, Dublin Zoo, National Aquatics Centre, Kell Book at Trinity College, Kilmahan Prison Museum and more. The city has produced many literary talents such as Bernard Shaw, Jonathan Swift, Oscar Wilde, James Joyce and Samuel Beckett. Dublin has plenty of shops, restaurants and bars to keep you entertained. One of the most famous areas is Temple Bar, famous for its density of bars - literally one bar per square metre.
EC Dublin is a stylish, modern school with state-of-the-art facilities.
The school accepts students over 16 years old
The school also has a special department for students over 30 years old - motivated, mature, like-minded people.
There are international classes. There is a maximum capacity of 15 student groups, with an average of 12 students per group. Teachers will practice speaking, listening, reading and writing skills with the students. There is an easy and relaxed atmosphere. Teaching materials are provided free of charge. At the end of your course, you will be awarded a certificate.
Students also have access to EC Online, a personal study assistant that allows them to monitor their progress. With EC Online, you can take a test to check your baseline, track your progress, access online materials and interact with teachers outside school hours. The school uses a highly regarded Net Promoter Score (NPS) system to continually receive feedback from its students and improve its level of service.
EC Dublin also presents English language courses for students who wish to improve their language skills for entry into the Dublin Institute of Technology undergraduate, postgraduate or doctoral programme. EU students who can demonstrate sufficient language proficiency for admission to the Dublin Institute of Technology and who end the EC course with an appropriate score will be admitted to the Dublin Institute of Technology without sitting in the IELTS/ TOEFL examination.
