School tours abroad: rules of stay
For parents, children and group leaders
Please read these rules before traveling. Each school may have its own additional rules, universal ones are described here. All rules are aimed at the safety of children during the program.
These Terms of stay and the internal regulations and safety of the participants of the vacation program determine the procedure for the child's stay in a school / language center abroad, the rights and obligations of the program organizers in relation to the child and the parent (legal representative) for the period of stay on the program and apply to all children accepting participation in the program. The child should have been warned by the parents and aware that he must adhere to the rules established at the school / language center. The arrival of the child to the place of the program is considered the consent of the child and his parents to comply with the established rules.
Program participants are required to:
- Observe the daily routine, sanitary and hygienic standards, safety and fire safety rules, rules of conduct on the water and in public places, during excursions and bus trips
- Fulfill the requirements of teachers and program staff
- Maintain order in the room assigned to stay
- Actively participate in social life and program activities. The child may not participate in any activities for objective reasons (illness, doctor's ban)
- Carefully and responsibly treat personal property, property of other children and property of the organizers of the program. The child is solely responsible for the safety of personal belongings.
- Observe generally accepted rules of conduct and etiquette
- Be mutually polite, do not use obscene words and expressions in conversation
- Come to classes and gathering places at a clearly appointed time
- In case of any problem or discomfort, immediately report it to the program staff
- After lights out, be in the room assigned to stay
Program participants are strictly prohibited from:
- Use and store narcotic, psychotropic, alcoholic and alcohol-containing substances
- Smoking in the building and on the territory of the program, in public places, as well as during excursions
- Use open fire, candles, pyrotechnics in the building and on the school grounds
- Violate the noise mode, listen to music loudly, shout, disturb others
- Independently leave the territory of residence and move without adults during excursions if the permission of the organizers of the program is not received
- Enter the technical, utility rooms, on the roof. Use unnecessarily fire escape and fire alarm systems
- Climb or bend over the railings of balconies and stairs
- Commit illegal actions against other participants, program staff and technical staff, including verbal abuse
- Endanger your life and the lives of other people by actions that threaten the life and health of these people
- Bring, store and use prohibited items during participation in the program (weapons of all types, including gas, traumatic, cold; flammable and explosive substances, knives and sharp objects, with the exception of items for sewing and personal hygiene; self-defense items (electroshock , gas, rubber batons, etc.); pyrotechnics of all kinds (fireworks, firecrackers, firecrackers, etc.) traumatic equipment (skates, rollers, scooters, etc.), toys that shoot bullets / balls; boilers; perishable food , cigarettes, sniffing mixtures, lighters, matches; any types of alcohol and alcohol-containing products; printed, audio-video-computer products containing the propaganda of non-cultural behavior, scenes of violence, eroticism, pornography)
- Use without supervision of a medical worker medical supplies, medicines, ointments, tinctures and medical supplies. Medicines must be packed in a first aid kit with the child's name and accompanied by detailed written directions for use, signed by the parent. Prescription drugs must be accompanied by a copy of the prescription. The administration of the Program reserves the right to seize the above-described items and substances from the child, notify law enforcement agencies and parents.
Deduction rules
The organizers of the program have the right to terminate the child's participation in the program and demand his removal at the expense of the parents and / or in their accompaniment for the following reasons:
- For gross violation of personal safety measures, daily routine, unauthorized departure from the territory of the program or from the building after lights out, unauthorized bathing or repeated violation of the rules of behavior on the water, violation of fire safety rules, electrical safety;
- For theft, extortion, threats, infliction of moral or physical harm on the part of a child in relation to other children, program employees;
- For causing significant intentional material damage to the property of the organizers of the program or other participants or employees of the program;
- For the use and production of prohibited products, drugs, items, alcoholic beverages, drugs, smoking and other prohibited actions described in these rules;
- Detection of medical contraindications or chronic diseases in the child that were not specified before the start of the program, which may negatively affect his health during his stay on the program;
- For the distribution and promotion of smoking, drunkenness, drugs, as well as for immoral and uncivilized behavior, foul language, rudeness, for causing any bodily harm to oneself or others;
- For committing actions that pose a threat to the life or health of a person, people (children, teachers, program employees, etc.) When a child is expelled from the program at the initiative of the program organizers, compensation for unused days is not made. For the damage caused to the property of the school or the organizing company, the parents of the child are responsible in accordance with the procedure established by law.
Children who are ready for self-service and have no medical contraindications are accepted to participate in the program. Upon arrival, the child may be required to make a deposit, which is returned at the end of the program in the absence of damage caused by the child to the property of the organizer of the program.
Children are not recommended to take valuable things with them to the camp: expensive watches, cameras, camcorders, laptops, tablets and other digital devices, jewelry. The organizers of the program are not responsible for the funds and valuables used by the participants of the program. Wearing expensive jewelry and accessories, using personal audio-video and photographic equipment, mobile phones is allowed only at the personal responsibility of the child.
During the program, photos and videos are taken. Unless otherwise specified, the arrival of the participant to the program is considered consent to take photos and videos of the child during classes, events, excursions, walks, etc., as well as the further use of the received images, including for marketing purposes. This consent is granted for the implementation of any actions in relation to the storage, processing, anonymization and distribution of the received images.
