Program description and what is included

The German course is 15 hours per week. The programme is designed especially for children and teenagers. Classes have a maximum of 15 students and are divided into learning groups according to language level. Lessons take place from 8.30 to 12.30 in a friendly atmosphere where children aren't afraid of making mistakes. Students read a lot in the original in order to learn new vocabulary, listen a lot in order to get accustomed to different dialects and talk even more. The course also includes creative projects with an emphasis on leadership and time management. All levels are available.

Description

Located in the upper part of the Lahn valley, 120 km from Frankfurt, our centre is set amidst typical medieval architecture, close to an imposing castle perched on top of a hill. Particularly well adapted to welcoming young students thanks to the calm environment and spacious infrastructure, the centre provides large classrooms, comfortable bedrooms and plenty of communal areas where students can play table football, board games and use the free WiFi access. Sports grounds, tennis courts and an outdoor swimming pool are located a few metres away, allowing students to take full advantage of the large choice of activities close-by.

The school is perfectly adapted for young students to live and study in a peaceful environment with state-of-art infrastructure: classrooms, comfortable rooms and plenty of areas where kids can play board games and use WiFi. Playgrounds, tennis courts and an outdoor swimming pool are just in a few metres away. Optional activities include horse riding, art and tennis lessons. At the weekend children go on a rollercoaster ride in the Fort Fun Adventure Park, go on a shopping trip to Frankfurt and visit Braunfels Castle. They also get to visit the authentic youth city with its fascinating architecture of Marburg. 

The children are accommodated on the residential floors. There are four people in a room and shared facilities. There is a lounge area in the building and on the green lawns. Teaching and living are in the same building. Meals are provided three times a day, packed lunches during excursions.
