Description
The campus is part of the well-known and historic Queen Mary University of London while the inspiration for the building design came from the Reading Room in The British Museum. The mix of traditional buildings, modern classrooms and small English gardens dotted around are an example of an inner city campus. MLA campus facilities include: a multipurpose sports centre, a student union, a large conference room used for evening activities, shops, a cafeteria with an open space with tables and a bookshop. Mile End underground station on the Central Line is next door to the campus and underground trains direct to Oxford Street take a mere 15 minutes.
