Description

Yaroslavl is officially called the "Capital of the Golden Ring". The crowded industrial city has a surprisingly cozy and atmospheric center, on the embankments, squares and boulevards of which numerous monuments from different eras have been preserved: churches of the 16th-18th centuries, the remains of old city fortifications, and residential buildings in the Art Nouveau style. You will admire the beauty of the Yaroslavl temples, built 400 years ago in the style of the Yaroslavl pattern, richly decorated, smart and cheerful. The front Volga embankment of Yaroslavl, decorated with rotunda pavilions, has a completely metropolitan view, from here a panorama of the Volzhskiye Daley and Strelka opens - the confluence of the Volga and Kotorosl rivers.
A separate line is the monuments of Yaroslavl: to Prince Yaroslav and Fyodor Volkov, the biblical Trinity and the Yaroslavl bear. The city remembers the poets L. Trefolev and N. Nekrasov, the singer L. Sobinov, the artist A. Savrasov. The city landscapes are surprisingly cozy and picturesque; it is not for nothing that filmmakers have chosen Yaroslavl as a filming location many times. The city has become the scenery for almost 100 films, including "Women", "Afonya", "Kin-dza-dza", "Crew" and dozens of other favorite films.

The village of Vyatskoye with its solid stone mansions looks more like a small county town. It was especially famous for its cucumbers; it grew its own variety of "Vyatka" cucumbers, which were supplied by merchants both to the imperial court and abroad. It is no coincidence that the village of Vyatskoye now has the honorary status of "The most beautiful village in Russia." On its territory there are already more than 12 interesting museums of the history of the village and its inhabitants. The Vyatskoye Museum Complex was deservedly awarded the Grand Prix of the XVII International Competition "Intermuseum 2015". The program includes an excursion to the Museum of Kitchen Machinery, where there are potato graters, balance scales, forms for Easter, samovars, as well as stylish foreign things that adorned the houses of merchants and aristocracy, toasters, bouillottes, ice cream makers, one of the world's first vacuum cleaners.
