Program description and what is included

Expanish offers a Spanish immersion summer camp program for young people in sunny Málaga, a beautiful Mediterranean city, located in the south of Spain, in the region of Andalusia. Medium-sized, it surprises with its culture and history, its beaches, the friendliness of its people, and the relaxed and friendly atmosphere. The program includes Spanish language classes, activities, excursions, and housing. All this makes it a perfect destination for teenage students. Students can choose between 2 and 4 weeks and live in a student residence with full board. Language-only and day camp options are also available.

Supervision and security

Students will be supervised by Expanish staff and activity leaders who have experience working with children and coordinating groups. All staff have passed a background check. The ratio of staff to students during the program activities is 1 to 15. Attendance to classes and activities is compulsory (except for students enrolled in the ‘LANGUAGE COURSE ONLY’) . Students may not go out at night unsupervised. The curfew during the week is 11 pm. There will be 24/7 supervision staff at the residence. Expanish staff will live at the residence with students for the duration of the program. Alcohol and drug consumption is prohibited and its consumption will result in immediate expulsion from the course without any refund. Any extra costs incurred must be paid by the customer (transfer, new flight, escort service for minors, etc.).

Transportation

• Airport Transfers - Expanish will provide a flight arrival window for students to use our group transfer service. Students arriving by themselves at other times will have to cover the cost of an individual transfer (60€ per way). All flight details are required 15 days before arrival at the latest.
• City Travel - Students will travel by private transportation to all excursions. For cultural or social activities, private or public transportation will be used and this is covered by the program fee.

• Additional public transportation pass (10-ride pass is about 5,50€)

Description

The Expanish Spanish school offers tuition in the sunny and bright town that is beach-side Málaga. 

Located in the historic center of Málaga, just one block from the Cathedral of Málaga and 15 minutes walk to the beach. The area is full of incredible restaurants, shops, cafés, and allows easy access on public transportation to other parts of the city.

In their spare time, students can discover all the culture Málaga has to offer and join beach sports such as kitesurfing.

Students interested in accommodation with the school can select between homestays with local families that include breakfast and dinner, shared apartments with other students, student residences, or studio apartments. All housing options come with bed linens, towels, bed, window, desk and WiFi.
