Description
EC Brighton is a stylish, vibrant and modern school just two minutes' walk from Brighton Pier and the Royal Pavilion, the main symbols of the city. Close by are many of the restaurants, pubs and clubs that this fun resort city is known for.
The city of Brighton is on the south coast of the UK, on the English Channel, known internationally as the English Channel. The former fishing village has been a popular seaside resort since the mid-18th century. It is visited by English tourists and foreign travellers alike. In summer, the town's pebbly beaches are filled with sunbathers. There are plenty of trendy restaurants, shops for every taste, nightclubs and bars. No wonder the British themselves call Brighton the London of the sea. The distance from Brighton to London is about 80km. The comfortable train journey time is about 1 hour.
EC Brighton has spacious classrooms with interactive whiteboards. Students also have access to computer rooms and a self-study room. Students can relax in the student lounge. Students have free wireless internet access. A library is available. All students are taught in international groups. There is a maximum size of 15 study groups and an average of 13 students per group. The atmosphere is friendly and relaxed. Teaching materials are provided free of charge. At the end of the course a certificate is issued.
Students also have access to EC Online, a personal study assistant that allows them to monitor their studies. With EC Online, you can take a test to check your baseline, track your progress, access online materials and interact with teachers outside school hours. The school uses the highly regarded Net Promoter Score (NPS) system to continually receive feedback from its students and improve its level of service.
All EU centres in the UK are registered centres for the Trinity College London qualification examinations. The exams include the GESE (Graduate English Speaking and Listening Exam) which assesses speaking and listening skills needed for entry, travel or employment and the ISE (Comprehensive English Language Exam) which assesses the reading, writing, speaking and listening skills needed for entry and recruitment.
