There are no less than 4 beaches, the closest just being a 10-minute walk away from our residence, where you can spend time during your summer language holidays in the mild climate of England’s south. For shopping addicts a visit to the Gunwharf Quays is a must. Using the modern facilities of the University of Portsmouth we offer every afternoon and evening and exciting activity programme.
But this unique city is not only famous for its beaches and shopping, it is the birthplace of Charles Dickens and has been home to other literary greats during their lifetimes.
