Description

Home to one of the oldest universities in the world, Oxford is a bustling and cosmopolitan city steeped in history and culture. Aside from the beautiful buildings of Oxford University, there are many other sights worth visiting, including the Radcliffe Camera, the Ashmolean Museum and the Bodleian Library. With a broad international mix, students will improve their language skills not only in lessons but by making friends during trips and by living with a host family.

You can relax and socialise with other children in the common room. The centre is surrounded by lawns and parkland. In your free time students will visit the University's famous colleges, Oxford Castle and Museum. Sports activities include bowling and parkland events. And Harry Potter fans will have the chance to play Quidditch. There is also table tennis in the lounge and dancing. The full-day weekend will take pupils to Bath, the mysterious Stonehenge, a Thames River cruise and Shakespeare's birthplace of Stratford-upon-Avon. Through a national mix, a packed programme of excursions and interaction with a host family, children quickly learn to live in a native language and immerse themselves in the English-speaking culture.

Children are accomodeted in host families durimg their studies. All host families are located in the school district, within 45 minutes by bus or underground. The rooms are double and the price includes one wash per week and a bus pass. Here they have breakfast, dinner, evenings out and immerse themselves in British culture and life.
