Description

PLUS Bath is located in the picturesque town of Bath in the South East of England. The town is a UNESCO World Heritage Site. There are many museums, theatres, cafes, shopping centres and ancient Roman monuments in the area. London is just within an hour away. The centre's programme is based on the city's leading girls' school. Each year graduates from Royal High School gain high marks in exams, especially in foreign languages.

Children have everything they need to learn and relax. The centre has classrooms with interactive whiteboards, a library, computer room and recreation lounges. The swimming pool, sports centre and playgrounds are easily accessible. A special feature of the centre is the emphasis on the excursion programme. There are lots of walks and excursions around Bath - trips to historic Victoria Art Gallery, ancient Roman healing springs, Royal Victoria Park and Jane Austen's favourite walks. At the weekend pupils will take a full day trip to Oxford and Cardiff. Excursions are combined with sport activities and professional dance workshops. Those interested in journalism can enjoy the reporters' course. In six hours of workshops they will learn about communication styles and produce a group project as an article or podcast. The premium programme includes full-day excursions to London and Bristol. In the evening the English programme continues with music quizzes, competitions and discos.

Accommodation is on campus within walking distance of the academic building. Most accommodation is single, with some twin and triple rooms. All rooms have a bed, wardrobe and desk. All facilities are shared, rooms are cleaned once a week. Meals are served three times a day and children have a packed lunch when they travel.
