Description
One of the best-preserved Georgian cities in the UK, Chichester is the affluent county town of West Sussex. With a cathedral dating back to the 11th century and some of the oldest buildings in Britain, Chichester has a rich history to explore. The city centre is pedestrianised and surrounded by the ancient city walls which helps keep it safe and secure for visiting students.
The university itself dates back to 1839. The campus on College Lane is set in spacious surroundings which include historic buildings and modern facilities. It is just a ten-minute walk from Chichester city centre.
Holidays at a school is not just about learning but also about a properly marvellous rest with mini-vacations, sports and workshops. There are dance and drama studios, a gym, playgrounds and a cafeteria on site. In their free time children can attend workshops in drama, dance, advertising and journalism. It is a good alternative to career guidance or just a chance to try something new. The programme includes excursions to London, Brighton, Portsmouth and Chichester. In the evening they arrange games, discos and a cinema.
Students areaccommodated in single rooms on campus with private facilities. Rooms are cleaned once a week and a launderette is available. Kids receive three meals a day and a packed lunch during excursions.
