Program description and what is included

The intensive German course is 23 hours per week. Classes from Monday to Friday in the morning in groups by language level, an average of 10 people per class. For distribution into language classes, children take a language test on the day of arrival. Lessons are interactive and engaging with a focus on listening, writing, speaking, reading and grammar. The materials of the assignments and the course are selected for teenagers. Training is possible with language level A1-C2.

Description

The German Language Center Humboldt-Institut invites schoolchildren to improve their language and spend time in cosmopolitan Cologne. Cologne is full of festivals, concerts and musicals. It is the fourth major city in Germany with a vibrant culture and UNESCO heritage.

Classes are held in spacious seminar rooms with the necessary equipment on the upper floors. After the lessons children will go on bike rides, excursions to Bonn and the Cologne Cathedral, the Museum of Modern Art, and the water park. Sports events are organized for children in the Rheinpark. In the evening - board games, karaoke, ping-pong, cinema and evening walks around the city.

Accommodation and studying at Cologne City Hostel on the east bank of the Rhine overlooking Cologne Cathedral. Double rooms with private facilities. The hostel has laundry facilities, bed linen is changed once a week. Three meals a day.
